Darren has a 3rd degree A-C Separation

Darren was riding his bike in Snow Basin and crashed.  He has a 3rd degree A-C separation.  It has been very painful and has forced him to stay home and not do much for a few weeks.  He is doing much better now that  it has been 5 weeks since the accident. He is gaining mobility but still  can't lift his arm very high and the bone is very prominent.

Learning to Sew

Shanee has been learning to sew this summer.  She learned how to cut out a pattern, cut the material and sew up a  pair of shorts with her friend Mariah and her cousins. It took almost an entire day to finish the project but she did a great job.  They even have pleats!  She says they are pajama shorts but I think they are cute enough to wear to school.  I was very impressed!
Last night at Young Womens we learned how to sew a pillow case.  She sewed this cute Halloween pillowcase.  Her brothers are begging her to make one for them.

Here are the winners!

Kindergarten Graduate

Kyler Graduated from kindergarten!  (Just a little behind on the posts!)  The photos I took on my phone will not open up anymore so I had to re-take some photos of him in his graduation cap because it is so cute.  He had a fun year in Mrs. Espinoza's class at the new charter school, Promentory School of Expiditionary Learning.  School starts again in only 20 days!
