SPORTS SPORTS SPORTS

I feel like our life revolves around sports sometimes.  Soccer, softball, T-ball, baseball, tennis, cross country.  And they all love it!

Kyler is awesome at soccer.  He is fast and scores lots of goals!
Talmage is awesome at soccer too!  He loves it and never wants to have a break.

Kyler is a good hitter. He plays coach pitch baseball.
Shanee was named MVP  by her coach and was awarded a keychain for free frostys for the year.

Kaden continues to be a great student

Kaden once again managed to keep a 4.0 even though he missed 16 days of school the last trimester.  We received a couple of post cards from his AP Physics teacher commending Kaden for his hard work.  He was excited to receive this award from the Airforce.  Are they trying to recruit him?

Stoker Family Reunion

Here are some of the grandkids with Grandpa and Grandma Stoker in front of their house.  We played all week while Ryan and Jayme visited.  We all wore the same shirt that said Stoker Summer Splash 2014.  We didn't get to stay down the whole week.  We had to keep driving back home for games and practices  but these are the things we got to do with them.
Sunday--Dinner at Judy's and they played battleship with water balloons and played on the slip & slide
Monday--Bean Museum and lunch at BYU Creamery
Tuesday--Cami went through the temple for her endowment and then swimming at the Lindon Pool
Wednesday--Waterslide on billboard at the park
Friday--Lagoon

Pentathalon

Shanee competed in her school's pentathalon and had a great time.  She won the 40 yard dash and the 400.  She won a new pair of running shoes and passes to Crystal Hot Springs! She loves to run!

First Lose Tooth

Talmage lost his first tooth on June 11th. He bonked his mouth into Kyler's head and out it came a few minutes later.  He is only 5 and not yet in kindergarten so this seems too soon to be losing teeth!  But he was sure excited to get $10 from the tooth fairy.

Kaden is 17!

Kaden turned 17 on April 14th.  Hard to believe he is that old.  He has a new hobby, robotics and has been busy building a robot with the Atlas Engineering Club.  For his birthday he asked for an Arduino so he can program things....???  He continues to be a great student.  We love you Kaden!  We went out to eat at a fancy Mexican restaurant in Ogden and ate apple pie for dessert.

April Fools Day

I tricked the kids by making them sundaes.  I told them they could have dessert before dinner so they were really excited.  The sundae was mashed potatoes with gravy.  Sounds good but it was cold.  It looked just like a hot fudge sundae so they were very sad.  Talmage started crying!
They had fun the whole day playing tricks on each other.

Spring Break

We went to Moab for Spring Break.  It was fun to get away for a few days, especially since the weather was cold.  We invaded Chad and Margaret for four days!  They were very nice and we had a great time.  We visited Arches National Park several times and hiked around and I even went mountain biking.  The kids loved riding Chad's chopper and playing with Wred.

Easter Fun

We had a fun Easter this year.  We had a big Easter egg hunt at Grandpa & Grandma Stoker's house with the cousins.  Grandpa caught one baby bunny in a trap and the grandkids caught three more.  We took home two bunnies, Peter and Cottontail.  Peter is black and Cottontail is brown. They have been fun to hold and fun for the kids to take care of.   We haven't had any pets for a long time so this is heaven for them.
We were also able to spend some time with the Harris Family at Wred's birthday party at Draper City Park.  We had fun playing kickball and eating cake with them.  Grandma Harris came up to visit on Sunday afternoon. It was a beautiful day outside so we roasted hot dogs and had a picnic.
